The Sunni Muslim countries are primarily: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan.
The Shia Muslim countries are primarily: Iran, Syria, Lebanon along with a sizable Shia population in Iraq.
Iran has been pouring influence into Iraq in the form of weapons, funds, and fighters, who are being trained at several Shia training camps in Iraq, and who are killing American service personnel.
Iran is the biggest Shia state and has been one of the largest state sponsors of terrorism worldwide.
One of the strongest shia influence is in southern Iraq, where there are 6 giant oil fields and where 2 million Shia work.
Across the middle east, there are almost 200 million Shia who are war hungry allies, due to the oppression that has been inflicted upon them by the Sunni majority for over a thousand years; to this day, Sunnis Schools teach that shia aren't real Muslims.
Nearly 1 billion dollars per year are funneled to the terrorist groups Hezbollah and the Hamas.
Hezbollah has set up a state within a state in Lebanon, while Hamas has total control of Gaza.
Yemen is new area of threat to global security, being a near perfect haven for terrorists and having a strategic location on Saudi Arabia's southern border; along with occupying a dominating military position off of another choke point called Gates of Tears, which is where almost three million barrels of oil per day flow through.
In addition, Iran has almost total control of the Straits of Hormuz, which 90% of the the worlds OPEC oil passes through.
Closing these two choke points would cripple the flow of OPEC oil and the OPEC states. But the real goal is Saudi Arabia's oil and through it, the control of Mecca, for whoever controls Mecca controls Islam.
Another thing that has to be remembered is that the Saudis provided Saddam Hussein with support during the Iran/ Iraq war and Iran isn't about to forget this.
With Iran's support for terror groups to the north and south, Saudi Arabia is surrounded
Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are predicting that there is going to be a war between Iran and the rest of the Sunni Arab world which is why the arab states are spending billions of dollars on the most advanced weapons they can procure from the United States.
The world does not understand the implication of the Sunni-Shia schism, and what it means in the Muslim world. It is not Jerusalem that is really of importance to them, though creating a Jew free middle east is a bonus for them, but it is the control of MECCA.
The Shia clerics want to rule the Muslim world the same way the Popes once wanted to rule Christendom. Maybe they feel nukes might help get them there.
This is what is going on outside of our knowledge in the Islamic world. The future of the West is being carved up by Islamic religious thinkers. Islamic aggression and world domination is no joke and has been planned for a long time.
